About

BETWEEN is an asymmetric multiplayer obstacle-puzzle course inspired by Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam. It is an introspective work that explores a singular idea: emotional connection does not always arise from contact, but from timing, distance, and mutual influence.

The project challenges the traditional concept of "cooperation" by removing direct interaction, forcing players to support one another through the void of an abstract emotional space.

The Core Rule

The experience is governed by one absolute law:
If you touch a color that is not your own, you die.

The Experience

• Indirect Cooperation: Progress is transversal. Activating a lever in your lane may be the only way to save a partner in theirs.
• Asymmetric Roles: Three players embody Emotions (Blue/Green - Female; Red/Yellow - Male), while one represents Depression—a disruptive force aiming for a breakdown rather than convergence.
• Dynamic Paths: The sequence of obstacles is randomized every run, ensuring that the journey to the center is never the same twice.
